Senate Republicans Get Humiliated After Plan To Embarrass Democrats Backfires

Republicans in the Senate had a plan to force Democrats in the chamber to vote once again on policies that Republicans believed were unpopular but were pushed by President Biden. But their plan to embarrass Democrats by putting them on the record again backfired almost immediately, as Democrats were prepared to vote down the measures in a show of force.
